I know there are issues with the website, but would you guys mind sharing the percentage of interview slots that have been taken? Just so that those of us waiting for a response next Wednesday will have our expectations in line.

I will ask again once people have had more time. Thanks!

Not sure about percentages, but at least on the calendar vis-a-vis on campus interviews, there is only green - indicating availability - on February 13th (out of seven possible dates). The rest have been blocked out, but wouldn't be surprised if they free up some slots for the next wave. Not sure about other cities such as New York or Palo Alto.

Just curious, what were the 7 possible dates available? Remaining hopeful about next week (I'm an eternal optimist, I can't help it), and am curious what days are already scheduled.

Interview window is Feb 13th-28th, correct?

It seems like the consensus that the # of available slots in a location is tied to the # of invites going out to that area of the world.

I don't think this is the case for a few reasons:

1. If they knew how many people from which areas were going to get invited, they'd send all the invites out at once, vice in two waves

2. There is nothing binding about the location at which you interview. I am equidistant betwen two international interview locations and HBS has no way of knowing (afaik) which one I'll pick (i don't think the app calls for identifying a location, right?)

3. They have no idea who'll be able to even make it and who won't. This is evidenced by the numerous skype slots they have.

My point is try not to succumb too much to forum-induced neurosis and stress yourself out unnecessarily by developing complex theories on why you are or aren't going to get an invite.

Best of luck to everyone on Wednesday!

This is a question for any R1 people who have interviewed already. Was the Harbus interview guide helpful? Is it indicative of the types of questioned asked? Thanks!

I want Wed to come, but I don't want Wed to come. Anyone else feel me? FC candidate here, so the dream has been kept alive for four months. Sometimes it's better not to know...

Hi guys!

Can anyone share interview dates for India? Not sure if the 13th-28th Feb window for campus invites holds.

I am planning a vacation during the second week of March - just wanted to be sure :-D

YES! The Harbus guide was incredibly helpful. It was essentially my bible in prepping for the interview. I got multiple questions that were nearly identical to questions in the guide. But more importantly, the guide covers all types of questions. It gets you thinking about everything you could possibly be asked about, and also pushes you to prepare anecdotes and examples. If you're able to answer all the questions in the guide, chances are that when you get a question that wasn't in the guide, you'll be able to draw on the prep you did to deliver a solid answer.

Where did you get this information of 300 invites from?

I've actually had my most productive day at work for the past two weeks. Maybe it is because I have prepared myself mentally for the worst while hoping and praying for the best.
