Based on the Kellogg Twitter post,

"@chrissydomenico Yes, by midnight. You’ll receive an email notification at some point during the day to let you know your status changed,"

we may be receiving updates in our online accounts as soon as 12:00 CST (roughly 25 mins from now) with the email coming out sometime later. I certainly hope this is the case. If not, I'm sure they will revert to the usual call-all-accepted-applicants process that would happen throughout the normal office hours.

Good luck to all!

Wow, interviewed by all three - Sloan, Booth, Kellogg! How were your interviews rushnroll? What's your profile like?

Hi engazapp,
Interviews went fairly well. It's honestly hard to gauge how "good" an interview was or how it would actually impact my application, but I'm at least fairly confident that my interviews didn't hurt my chances :)
I'm an applicant from Asia.

I don't think midnight is exactly when the clock strikes. Last year, email was sent around 1:30 a.m. And when Adcom says, you will know by midnight, I really think it's tomorrow, by midnight. Just my two cents.

Nothing here, neither email nor status change. I strongly agree with CelerIP.

That could be right. Either way, I dont think there should be this much ambiguity about deadlines. Well, I guess I'll need to find something to preoccupy myself with for the next 24hrs.

Well, I think this settles the midnight storm for now :)

See you all back on the forums around 7:00am CST. I think it's fair to say that calls will most likely start going out to Asian applicants by that time.

Keep your nerves calm and keep the faith alive!

Ok, I have a last minute 'stupid' query. I'd given up hope with Kellogg till now, but after reading these forums I have a doubt.

I interview with an Alumnus. I did not interview with the Adcom. Is there a possibility I can get an accept? I personally don't think so. But can someone clarify? Just don't want to be nervous without reason :)

You have absolutely nothing to worry about! Many (if not most) applicants are interviewed by alumni. I was interviewed by an alumnus. This is just how Kellogg runs its application process.

Others may disagree, but I think you're still in the game.

Think about it, there is no way that the adcom can realistically interview every single applicant. Its just not realistic. If there are 5,600 applicants, and say 40% are interviewed, thats 2,240 interviews that need to be conducted. Some portion of that number will be international and therefore wont be able to interview in person on campus, call it 20%. So you're left with 1,792 in person interviews that need to be held in person. I dont know how many people are on the adcom, but I cant imagine its more than 8 people. So that 224 interviews per adcom member over the course of a four month period (56 per month or ~3 per day).

I dont think its a bad sign if an alum interviewed you but it could be wishful thinking since I was interviewed by an alum

I just wonder to know if there is anybody out there who submitted before off-campus deadline (Sep 16) and has not been interviewed. Anyone?

Looks like we'll have to wait till tomorrow?

I wouldn't worry too much about who interviewed you. The poster above made a great point. Its impossible for the admissions committee to interview all applicants.

Well, hope everybody gets some good sleep. I know I won't.

Interviewing on-campus by an adcom versus off-campus by an alum was entirely your choice. On your application, you indicated this choice - it's not like the adcom picked certain people to interview by adcoms and others by alums. So they're not going to ding you OR accept you by the choice you made regarding your ability to travel to Evanston.

Rushnroll, BigUp and CelerIP,

Encouraging words!! Thank you for the clarification. In that case, I will join everyone in having a sleepless night today. Hoping against hope that I receive an admit.

Good luck to all :)
