Dinged. The only reason I'm surprised is that I applied last year R3 and was interviewed, waitlisted, and eventually accepted. I (thought that I had) improved my profile this year. Guess you really never know!

Dinged without interview as well, but...I found this section interesting in my ding letter:

"Based on the strength of your work experience and other credentials, I would like to share your application with my colleagues in our Fully-Employed MBA (FEMBA) Program. If you have ever considered working while pursuing your education, FEMBA is a highly-ranked option offering the same faculty, courses, and UCLA Anderson MBA degree. My colleagues from FEMBA will be in touch very soon to explore this possibility with you."

Is this something they do for many (or all) dings? I don't think the FEMBA would fit me anyway, but I'm just curious.

Accepted! Happily, I received 35k schol. per year :) Super happy! They are calling up to tell you about the scholarship offer...While I had seen the result online. Waiting for a formal email notification on the scholarship - Any clue when does it come? I was told that this email will come to me "shortly".

Sorry for the confusion. I saw the acceptance on the portal in the morning (IST) and Alex called me up in the evening to inform about the scholarship. I am an Indian applicant :)

For the many people who were asking about fellowship offers, the fellowship offer is extended through a separate e-mail from the admissions e-mail. I received my fellowship offer e-mail about 4 hours after my admission. Definitely a nice surprise :).
