I was admitted. GMAT was 690....higher GPAT at 3.7. So low GMAT ppl stay positive...although most of you all have higher gmat scores than me anyways.

Wow congrats DMMRJ, is that per year or total? It sounds like the adcoms are moving down the call list for early admits through the day.
For those that asked
Interview: Nov 5th
Application Complete: Nov 4th (not sure how this is possible since my interview was the day after and my documents didn't arrive until later in November)
WE: 4 years, economic forecasting/consulting in D.C.
I honestly feel like UCLA's blackbox is more opaque that other schools. We have no real way of discerning why they would release a batch of early decisions and how they ranked candidates for earlier vs. later interviews. I think there are lots of spots still up for grabs in the first round or they wouldn't bother having such a late notification deadline.
At best it's all random and those of us with early interviews just got picked off the pile first. At worst, you are still in contention but they want to see if anyone in the first batch of acceptances commit elsewhere before the end of January.
