What is the point of checking with the adcom. I feel one should send mails to adcom, only when necessary. One, they are already busy, and two, it might leave a negative impression of being impatient(and not respecting their time etc.)

Yes, we will have to wait till 28th to know our fates. They don't seem to update the status like other schools.

My guess is that it is close to zero. They do put people in WL without interview. That's the best case scenario for those who have not been interviewed in R1(I am in the same boat).

I hate to say this, but most certainly looks like a ding for me. You have a better chance of making it to the WL as you have a better GMAT score than me :) Don't lose hope yet.

My guess was automated mails are sent at 12AM PST(3AM EST). I was hoping the mails are sent today(not that I expect to receive one), and the decisions are available on the apply yourself portal. Another 24hours of agony I guess.

My guess was automated mails are sent at 12AM PST(3AM EST). I was hoping the mails are sent today(not that I expect to receive one), and the decisions are available on the apply yourself portal. Another 24hours of agony I guess.
