I did too. Sent the note at the end of the day my interview was held. Got acknowledged by next morning. Don't think it was necessary though. This is just a personal protocol I follow for every interview as a token of gratitude for them taking their time for me.

Hi. There's no post-interview reflection or other requirement to feedback to Sloan, but it's nice to send a thank you note. I did this and got an acknowledgement from my interviewer the following day. Not mandatory though. I guess we're all replaying the interview in our heads - trying to convince ourselves that we did a great job, worrying about too long pauses and poor answers - but the best strategy is to try and relax now and not think about it. There are many variables in the application process and your interview is not necessarily make-or-break. Not worth overthinking it, unless you're applying in Round 2+ in which case the R1 interviews give you some good practice and things to work on for next time. Best of luck everyone. I never got an answer for my thank you note, is that normal?

Hi. I wouldn't worry about it. In general, I would not expect a response to a thank you note, but it seems that some people did get a response from Sloan. It probably depends on the interviewer and their busy schedule. Fyi I got a response from Sloan but not from Wharton. I don't think you can read anything into it. Relax!

Hi everyone. I joined the MBA chat with Admissions earlier today (still going on actually!) and they confirmed to someone that: "In the past, all R1 admissions decisions were released on the same day. These were electronic and by the afternoon. Admitted people get a phone call as well from us and a call from a current student later than night or the next day." Hope this helps to clarify what to expect on 17/12! Good luck!!

That's strange, their website says 12/17 not 12/16... damn, which day!

I joined the chat late, but was told that ALL admitted students, even international, will get a call or at least are supposed to get a call. I'm anxious about the decision, one more week to go!

I hope they leave a voice mail if you do not answer because some times my phone glitches and I do not receive phone calls but will see an alert about a voicemail.
