Guys, I do not see my status? where is it located?
And damn, where is my invite?!

When you log in to their application system (https://www.chicagobooth.edu/apply/shome.aspx), on landing page, there is a column for status. For many of us, it is "submitted" since we have not received an invite yet.
Hope it changes today...

I don't think it will change from "submitted" after receiving an invite. This system is similar to HBS, and there they just send an email telling you that there is an update. Then you log in and there will be a link for the update above your "fee paid"/"scores" thing. It reads either denied or interview (for HBS). Can anyone who got the Booth invite please confirm this? Thanks!

Confirmed. Your headline status will still say "Submitted" no matter what. Once you go into the page, there may be a status update inviting you to interview (though you would have gotten an email). There are no dings until Friday, but everybody will have a status update by then. Good luck!

Great, thanks! Also, for HBS, the status update in the application page was available a couple of hours before receiving the email, so this is probably also true for Booth (in case anyone want to spam F5 in the application page for invites, although dings won't be available before Friday late evening). Good luck everyone!

This whole interview invites in waves is really sub-optimal for applicants. I wonder what the schools are trying to achieve.
Why don't they just follow a standard single day invitation invite mechanism. I would even fault HBS for doing it over 2 days (spread apart by a week). What a crazy stressful week for applicants!

Booth seems to be acting pretty quickly. Received the interview invite yesterday at 3pm, requested an off-campus interview by 5pm, and I had a match by 6pm.

For anyone interested, here are the dates available for on campus interview: Monday-Friday, October 27 - November 21 and Saturday, November 15.

Good luck everyone!

Any speculation on why schools would choose a wave approach?

Surely, by now, all applications have been reviewed... is it a matter of coordinating logistics at this point?

I was at the Booth Live event last week, and the ADCOM reiterated multiple times that they would send out interview invites on a random basis. They said more than once that the order in which an interview invite is received is not indicative of anything.
