I applied on November 15 for the 2nd round. However, my status is still submitted. Has anyone else's changed to Completed or Under review?

I don't believe there is any such option. Ross and Booth are the only schools that categorically mention submission of such letters of support. You can ask the admission committee for submitting such letters with your application.

Applied 10/15 for R1 and got the interview invitation this AM around 7:30PST. Offered chance to interview during spotlight on women or regular. Was definitely getting nervous about this interview invitation but don't lose hope to those still all waiting because they are still sending out the invites and it looks like there are still plenty of interview slots available!

Thank you for providing the information. It just goes to show that R1 interview invites are still going on and thus R2 invites will have to wait latest till 15th December. interestingly, the admissions website only mentions about the "initial notification" date and nothing about the final decision.

If I am understanding your question correctly, yes, Stern is giving 2 options to interview. 1. Visit NYU Stern before the women's spotlight week, 2. Attend the interview when you come to Stern in Feb for the women spotlight. Stern highly emphasizes to visit the school to show your "commitment" and to evaluate your "fit" with the school.

Is it fair to say that since NYU is giving R1 applicants the option of interviewing either now or in Feb at the women's spotlight week that final decisions shouldn't be expected till at the earliest Feb?

Interviewed last week. Short duration - roughly 30 minutes. Was not offered a t-shirt (I think last year people reported getting t-shirts?) nor a folder containing clubs I may have been interested in. Questions were mostly about fit and culture, what kind of job I wanted (and backup job) post-MBA. Adcom said final decisions would be released after winter recess.

Thanks for the information. I believe this is an important piece of information for people who applied in R1. As per the official holiday schedule, Winter Recess gets over on 1st Jan, 2016.
