you know what's funny? these schools are unwittingly costing companies so much productivity. i don't know about you guys, but i am absolutely useless at work these days stressing out over these applications lol.

I think you are right. And the least they can do is to commit to dates for interview invitations like HBS...

Why would you say that?

Only six people on GC have got an invitation. Empirically, at least 70 should, seeing as over 200 have applied, that Yale admits about 22% and interviews ~2x the number.

Yup ! And till October end in weekly intervals ! If u are an Indian applicant, mostly u will be called for interview during the Yale reception in India which are on November 15/17!

Does any one know after interview, the final decisions come out on rolling basis or all release on a specific day?

I would not be nervous. I got mine less than a week after submitting my video essay. The invite literally said, that they go through two revisions. They sometime send out invites to people they definitely want to talk to (even without reading your whole application). It appears they will be issuing invites for some time to come–so I think it would be counterproductive to speculate. Good luck to everyone!!!

I initially thought the same thing, but we would have to assume everyone on the forum updates statuses perfectly and reports perfectly - likely not the case. Also, historically, Yale offers spots to more than half of the interviewees, but it interviews fewer applicants percentage-wise compared to other schools. Getting an interview is a good sign.

In my opinion there is no need to worry at this point of time.
The decision date is 7th of December. That gives us full two months to get an invite.

Totally agree with you!!!! I cannot focus on my work from early October!!! Everyday is a torture. :( :( :( Unless I don't get any feedback from schools I applied. :( :( :(
