WOW!!! Congrats!

But, could you elaborate on your experience with e-gmat? I've been practicing on the scholaranium questions and I do fairly well on those but that was not the case on the real gmat.
Where did you do RC from?

Hi there,

So, I have been enrolled with e-gmat for a while now. No doubt their SC course is very well designed and explanatory.I felt that Scholaranium questions gave me fair confidence. I only practiced 'Hard' questions around it. For RC, I practiced with some RCs on this forum. In my previous attempts, I also practiced Manhattan's RC guide, although to be honest it wasn't much helpful.

Very inspiring post indeed! I have just gotten a poor 600, and seriously contemplating whether or not to retake or if I am cut out for GMAT even. I feel more encouraged to push on now

HI Black5tar,

You should post your 'story' in your own thread - how you studied, the lead-up to Test Day and Test Day itself. You will likely receive some advice about how best to proceed.

Wonderful debrief indeed! I could relate to the amount of pain and achievement of success while reading your story.
This is truly inspiring!
My hearty congratulations for you :-D

Revenge 2014 : Wonderful debrief mate. I am in a similar situation but I'm yet to achieve a good score. Have given the GMAT 5 times and the maximum I managed was a 590.!! Before my last attempt, I scored a 700 in the official GMAT mock test but I fell short by 110 points on the test day. Just like you I have tried 'n' of resources but nothing worked for me.

All this time I was taking tests with 'college deadlines' in mind, but it hasn't clicked so far. Now I have roughly 6 months before R1 deadlines for Fall '17 program. Hoping that the 6th time will be the end of it all and even I write a 'success story'.

All the best for your applications.

Cheers,
Narendran.

Hi, will you share your profile?

Mate, this person hasn't been online in two years (almost to the day). And this post is from 2016, so I doubt you will get a response. That said, there are plenty of more current debriefs that you can read and get a response from!

I want to add my two cents on this. Whenever you feel you are exhausted, don't push yourself to meet the deadlines and let the current cycle go instead (if there aren't such circumstances that place you in such situation). Taking a hold of month or more may be a better thing for, as you refresh your mind and all the things you have been learning so far may unconsciously land in your brain. After the break, there is a good chance you will find yourself dealing naturally with rather difficult questions.
