st 1; x = -20, 3
insufficient

st 2: x>y^2
means x is positive

insufficient

St1+St 2:

X = 3
Sufficient

Ans : C

I can get your explanation but what if we take y=0 can c still work? Please help

Posted from my mobile device

If y=0, then you just have x>0 so C still works.
