A is a negation trap, that you fell into. The assumption is:
People in the same occupation usually have the same personality type (this is also in line with option E). But option A states just the opposite - it is a weakening statement.

Argument refutes that there is correlation between occupation and type of personality. Then how is E a valid assumption?

The test tells personality types. And the psychiatrist using the test guessed occupation. So there just a correlation.hence E.
