No last name

Question

Hi Guys,

I don't have a last name and hence, I'm not able to register for GMAT.
Please suggest.

My friend, you have a unique situation. I suggest that you contact GMAC directly: get their guidance, so you do exactly what they will consider legitimate. You might try to contact them directly at the email GMATCandidateServicesAmericas@pearson.com or at customercare@mba.com . I will also make some inquiries and see what I can find out. Dear sannidhya , I heard back from the folks at GMAC. They said the following: Thank you for your inquiry. Your name should be entered exactly as it is written on your passport. You should not experience any problems, as long as the personal data you enter, first (given) and last (family) names are in the proper order, date of birth, and country of citizenship, exactly match what appears on the identification (unexpired with signature) you will present at the test center. When creating a profile on https://www.mba.com , if your passport book does not include your surname (family name), please enter a period/dot in that field . Please see below for an example: Either: First name: Tonya Middle: Michelle or leave blank if you do not have a middle name Last (surname) name: . Or: Last (surname) name: . First name: Tonya Middle name: Michelle or leave blank if you do not have a middle name My friend, I hope this addresses the issue for you. Best of luck! Mike :-)

One of my acquaintance was in a similar situation. He repeated his first name as his last name. His name is "Foo Foo". That has eventually became his official name everywhere.

I do not have last name mentioned on my passport. But last name column is mandatory to fill. earlier I contacted customer assistance and they told me to use full stop (.) in the last name column. I did the same but I am facing issue with booking gmat exam. Because the examiKEY does not allow to use caps and spaces in name.

Please suggest me what to do next. i contacted examity customer service, they told me to contact mba. com customer assistance. And now i've mailed them, i don't know how many days it would take to respond.
Getting late just because of this last name issue.

Are you able to register for the GMAT over the phone? Or at least try to complete your registration online while speaking to someone at GMAC over the phone?

I mailed them again and they told me to use dot in last name column in the profile on mba. com and to use test in last name column in examity 
This way i was able to book the exam.
