1st of All, the possible sample combo would be P&Q ,and P&S

1. for P&Q , to make concentrated sol of 60% - ( Weighted Avg= 60%)

Q2/Q1=A2-WA/WA-A1 = 66-60/60-48=1/2, it means 2ml-P & 1 ml-Q

For P&S, to make concentrated sol of 60% - ( Weighted Avg= 60%)

Q2/Q1=A2-WA/WA-A1 = 66-60/60-54=1/1, it means 1ml-P & 1 ml-S

But we don't know the price per ml of samples so 1. is not sufficient

2. We have price per ML but don't know concentration of samples so ii. alone is not surf,

combining both the eq together

PQ COMBO :2 ml p & 1 ml q costs = 2*1+1*4/3 = $2

PS COMBO :1 ml p & 1 ml Q costs = 1*1+1*4/2 = $2.5

SO YES- the least total cost of the mixture obtained by mixing samples P and Q.

Ans is C
