ON and, I was also told that they look at the GMAT Quant (70-80% minimum) and IR (70-80% minimum)

I will be applying in R2.

Have 13+ years of experience .

Did GMAT and got 670. Maths is 49 but IR is 3 (32% percentile ) . I talked to them and they said, you should be fine and focus on just completing your essays. I am just writing essays and have my interview scheduled this weekend.

Just as a backup option, i have taken a date right before the essay submission for another try at GMAT.

I will try and understand this a bit better during interview. Anyone has any input on interview ?

Nothing specific to interview but there is a video on youtube in which Diane Sharp and another person from adcom answers many common questions. I found this after I submitted my app for round1. Its a good video and answers most of the questions you might be having

Good luck on your interview this weekend! The interview was pretty straight forward and was more of a conversation. Are you going to sit in on a class? I would recommend checking one out while you're there.

I will attend the information session and lunch on 19th. On 20th, I will attend a class followed by interview later in afternoon.

Your score suggests that you probably did a little lower on maths. Did they say anything specifically about the math score on GMAT? How about IR. I didn't do well on that either. DId they talk about that too ?

As I posted above , I am in ~75 percentile (49) and believe can definitely do better but really short on time now...

Yes - Let's hope, we end-up as classmates :)

They actually didn't have much to say or ask in regards to my math score. I may have been lucky, or my background made up for the lower GMAT math score. They also didn't ask anything in regards to my IR, but I got an 8 in that section. I ended up studying a lot more on my verbal because it was much easier to boost my overall score by improving my verbal than my math. Truthfully, if I was to re-take the GMAT with a 49 on my math and a 670 overall, I probably would focus more on improving my verbal score. For the same amount of effort, I think there would be a much larger return.

Since EA is now accepted by Wharton, I think IR (GMAT) should not hold much value. 4 hour test compared to 1.5 hour test is not logical. More the time a candidate spends on test, greater the difficulty. Thats my take.

Well good point, as long as Wharton's reasoning is sames as yours :)

I attended a macroeconomics class Berkeley MBA and can clearly see the applications of IR, and we all do graphical interpretation day-in / day-out for running business so it is definitely a skill desired. But my point is , Its the time that killed me at IR section as opposed to my inability in interpreting graph ...but then everyone has to go thru the same grill anyways !

Wondering - How come 57 in verbal and 47 in qunat, ended up in a score of 650.... QQ

Thats showing incorrect 57 is the percentile. Its 30 i guess
