Hey folks, just interviewed with Diane Sharp on 1/27/2018 at Phil campus, I could not attend the class for pretty stupid reason, will go back at a later date. The interview was more of a conversation and Diane made me feel comfortable, delineating how the format will be well before we started talking. I got a feeling that she was genuinely interested in knowing my line of work/experience. Surprisingly enough, she knew more about Healthcare world than most people I meet (Since my job is more patient/providers/operation focused). I talked to her specifically about the GMAT scores and Executive Assessment (being a fellows candidate with GMAT on lower side) and she said EA was not much of a help since there is no baseline (not enough data to suggest what’s excellent vs good vs mediocre). Regarding the GMAT, she told me they have rejected candidates with 800 and accepted as low as 620, just depends on how your profile can demonstrate a clear career path and leadership role and GMAT was more like to make sure you can perform in classroom setting and analytical bend. Over all my experience was not extraordinary (or maybe she is just tough to read ). Hoping my application can impress her/adcom where the interview lacked.
Anyone else hear about their status, I know almost all folks here applied for R1?
Cheers and Good luck!

Folks, quick question the only document that needs to be physically mailed to Wharton is the transcript correct? I think the website says to send the sponsorship letter as well, but I just might be interpreting it wrong. Thoughts? thanks for all your guys time!

I'm told that physical copies can be send later ( off-course before the admission ) and for now even PDF ( Scanned copes ) should be fine both for letter and transcripts. In any case, please verify it with them directly and if they advise otherwise, please post here .

Wharton also requires a physical copy of the sponsorship letter. I had forgotten to send my physical copy, but they asked for it when they realized I had not sent it to them.

Thanks . Is it Mandatory that Wharton receives this letter before the application deadline AND Was there any specific template they asked to use. To me , they didn't specify any

It is not mandatory to have the physical letter submitted before the application, but I'm pretty sure that you need to have a scanned copy uploaded before the application.

I personally used a generic sponsorship letter from the web and modified it to make sure the letter covered all the details Wharton wanted.

It appears ~60-70 people were accepted for each campus in R1.

Thank you. Does anyone know if Wharton gives people admission between 1st and 2nd round decisions?
