Today, I read Manhattan GRE RC book in which I found the below list that shows the relationship between the signal words and the author and/ or the passage.
SIGNAL WORDS
1)
FOCUS ATTENTION = As for ; In reference to
2)
ADD TO PREVIOUS POINT = Furthermore ; Moreover; In addition; Also; As well as ; Likewise; Too
3)
PROVIDE CONTRAST= On one hand ; On the other hand; While; Alternatively; Rather; Instead; In contrast ( such as, in stark contrast to these images ….)
