ShreyKapil08

Thief doesn't steal "Just Milk" instead thief steals the milk solution because for the discussion of Mixtures we assume that all the mixtures are homogeneous at every part of it. i.e. every part of the mixture will have same ratio of all it's constituents.

A Container contains ‘X’ Liters of Milk. A thief stole 50 Liters of Milk and replaced it with the same quantity of water. He repeated the same process further two times. And thus Milk in the container is only ‘X-122’ liters. Then what is the quantity of water in the final mixture?

Since the thief removes and replaces it with the same amount of water, the total amount of mixture in the container will not change.. It would be same X after every replacement.
Its given that amount of Milk in the container = \(X -122\) litres
So amount of water in the container = Total amount of mixture - Milk amount in it = \(X - (X -122) = 122 l\)

Option D would be the correct answer.

Thanks,
Clifin J Francis

You might see quite a few questions of this type, the questions are so damn easy that you tend to give it a re-read thinking of missing the detail but you need to be confident on your skills, such questions can be a waste of time if you get stuck with the first part.
