Oh, and I forgot to mention the confusion with the scholarship situation. After receiving the scholarship info, I responded back and they encouraged me to apply despite not having an answer for the 'interview round' with a link to begin my scholarship applications. I found it strange but registered anyway, receiving an email this time that says "You have successfully registered and can now apply for INSEAD MBA scholarships online." as I follow the steps, it takes me back to "You first need to be admitted to the INSEAD MBA Programme, to be invited to the Admissions interviews or to be on the admissions waitlist in order to apply for scholarships." So I went on this back and forth situation with the finance team until I finally got another email saying they sent me too much in advance and that I should wait to begin doing anything until my AO sends me the final decision. And after all that jazz I find myself here, looking for some answers. Anyone with the same situation?

I did email back Rose Marie on Monday and she mentioned the last point you shared, the other two-three emails were automated ones from the scholarship tool.

Also, do not take seriously the female selection first, it was a joke based on the two previous comments where they mentioned that their girlfriends got their invites and they were still waiting.

She said that this year was quite competitive but not higher than other years, I do not know what that should mean...

I just got a call from a french number and my heart stopped, sadly it was EDHEC, they saw my GMAT and are interested in my profile :(

I was not, so my idea first was to apply to Darden now as a safe option but due to a large number of applications and the visa restrictions they encouraged me to apply for next year. I ended up applying only to INSEAD.
Anyway, now that I took the GMAT more schools are interested in my profile and I may have other options but most of the acceptable ones seem to be for next year, and in case I do not get in I will retake to reach a 720-740.

I still have hope and confidence in my profile and my application for INSEAD, so till tomorrow or when I get the email I will be waiting.

Seguro que sí! (certainly so). There aren’t that many Spanish citizens who pursue an MBA in the US, so I am sure if you bring it up to a 720-740 you can even apply to Stanford/HBS if interested. I do wish you the very best and there are still two more days to go. I didn’t think they were going to invite me with my “okay” scores and it happened. Mucha suerte! (Good luck).

I didn’t apply to any other school. INSEAD was my only choice as it truly aligned with my goals and what I’m looking for from an MBA. If I don’t get in, I’ll probably pursue EMBA in a couple of years.

Also, whoever has received an interview invite in the past few days, did you guys receive that scholarship mail before the interview invite?

Just overthinking things while I await the judgement :P

I received an interview invite yesterday and I still haven't received the scholarship email. So I don’t think the two are connected.

Hope this helps. Its hard not to overthink, but we're just a day away, so hopefully you should hear soon.

Keep the positivity up. doesgreymatter was cribbing that he might get a ding and he's been invited. Just a little more than a day and we'll all know. Plus, those that didn't even get a scholarship invite have been selected for interviews. Keep your hopes up.

Well cribbing would be a strong word. But yes, I was confident of a strong application, just that the current circumstances made me a little wary, and hence slightly pessimistic.

But totally agree, keep the positivity up, I'm pretty sure things will turn out great for everyone ?
