Executive Assessment (EA) Exam 101
What is the Executive Assessment (EA) Exam?
Executive Assessment (EA) Exam is a shorter version of the GMAT exam meant for working professionals.
Who can give this exam?
If you are an experienced professional and you don't have time to prepare for GMAT, this exam is the right fit for you!
Then why should I give GMAT if I can give EA to get into a B School?
Here is the catch, EA exam as of now is meant for students who are trying to get into evening MBA programs. These students have an option to give either GMAT or EA. BUT some of the schools have started accepting EA scores for their full-time MBA programs as well. But who knows how it will go in the future.
I am not planning to do an MBA, is this exam still for me?
Of course, when the EA exam was launched in 2016, the plan was to make it exclusive for Evening MBAs. But things changed over time. Now, if you are planning to do either of the below courses, this exam is a good option for you.
Master of Finance
Master of Accounting
Master of Data Analytics
I did the preparation for GMAT, do you think I should be good to go for the EA exam?
Definitely, if you were good at GMAT mocks/know GMAT content very well, just book your slot for the EA exam and give it a try.

Can you explain how the scoring works?
As per our research, we found that the minimum and the maximum scores you can get in each section are 2 and 18 respectively. The sum of the scores of each of the sections (IR, V, and Q) is then added to 120. For example,
1. If you scored 2 in each section, your total score will be 126 [126=120+2+2+2]
2. If you scored 18 in each section, your total score will be 174 [174=120+18+18+18]
