Hi there,
After reading pretty much all UCLA and LBS "vs." posts, I could need your help with my final decision.
I got into LBS and Anderson (sadly HBS/GSB Ding again after last year) and am currently debating where to attend.
My background: MBB consultant who wants to stay in MBB and focus on media/ entertainment/ gaming - short-term goal is to do a year in the US (potentially LA, already have an offer to return and choose location by MBB) and then return long-term to Europe.
Anderson has offered a very generous (almost full) fellowship and supports my media goals + the great location, internship experience etc.
LBS on the other hand would be the better brand, potentially higher caliber classmates and maybe stronger European network in the long run. It also offers an exchange semester at UCLA but very few media electives and London is not as attractive.
I am leaning strongly towards UCLA due to the LA lifestyle, Financials and media strength, but would be very interested in your option!

Congrats on your admits!
The entertainment industry is tricky. H1B approvals are low https://gmatclub.com/forum/top-mba-h1b- ... 43153.html (this list includes 3 quarters of data and 4th quarter came out but it is proportinal after the update). There are spots and options but it is really very few if you take into consideration that the H1B includes all employees including people such as programmers, animators, and more technical personnel. I am not discouraging you but painting a picture that will include more than career services at school and a lot more than just sending a few resumes (let's both hope I am totally wrong).
Looking at the comparisons of admit rates and average scores for LBS, I don't feel you will be missing out as much by trading LBS for Anderson. The two programs are not compared directly often (though we are working on making it easier at some point expanding our rankings, though not at this time).... so I can see how it is very subjective based on where you live and what you know to compare Anderson and LBS. Most people here think it is the same as LSE by the way. But ultimately, you are choosing the Business School as a path/tool/means to a final goal. Your goal is not to go to the seemingly best school based on some crazy rankings but rather the one that can get you closer to your eventual goal... I think you will like LA.
I would stay focused and stay faithful to your goal and dream. You have an MBB backup option that most LBS students would kill for (hopefully not but from what I am hearing about Internships, they definitely edging in that direction). Anyway, having a focus of what you want to be doing and talking to people and networking would have the best results. I would not feel bad about trading LBS, frankly but at the same time, I know a lot more about Anderson than LBS.

I have experience with both LBS and UCLA students
I am a LBS student
Here in this case your comments are very wide
And I don’t know why you say London is not attractive.
There are so many assumptions you have taken .
I will advise you to think inline with
1 Lifestyle you are comfortable with
2 If you are only targeting US geography then UCLA is better because I have seen students struggling in US and U.K. accent issue
3 You can make better impact in same geographical learning
