Schools no longer give feedback for applicants. Is there a reason?
Reapplicants - do they need to ask recommenders to write something new (e.g. something that happened last year)
Also, should we rewrite the essays. Probably :)

How to differentiate schools and how they can be different. There are stereotypes for Booth being finance and Darden being IB. My guess those schools dont' want just IB and Finance people joining.

There are obviously guides for schools that consultants put out
Maybe we can write these based on interviews with students?

This seems like an attack on GRE test takers :P (jk), GRE to GMAT score converter is flawed, to begin with even ETS admits that.
Moreover, I think they do look at the percentiles as well.

Some schools clearly mention for e.g. Yale that they expect a 10 point higher percentile for GRE Quant compared to GMAT quant because supposedly GRE is easier.

Not to mention GRE is not even preferred for Consulting/IB companies as one of the filtering criteria for them is high GMAT score.

We should basically ask all these questions to ETS why would anyone give GRE over GMAT ?

I believe that the quoted case would exist considering the demographics and geographic location of candidate.

I rather believe that it's an unspoken and unappreciated inference that candidates with equivalent GRE scores are considered less prominently than candidates with GMAT.

The pattern is especially evident with MBA aspirants from India.
