Anyone have tips on how to stop ruminating on my TBD performance?! It was over a week ago and I keep thinking about all of the potentially “bad” things I did, instead of the good. Also — on the individual interviews, was not asked “how the TBD went.” Just “Why Wharton & why MBA?” Is this normal?
I was in the same boat, I thought I made a big mistake speaking over someone right at the end when we were assigning speaking roles and I was stuck thinking about that for a long time after. Turns out that didn't matter as I'm heading there later this year. The advice I can give you is that Wharton adcom use the interview performance as another data point in your application, and NOT a filter.
I listened to a podcast with Blair Mannix, and she mentioned that the adcom do multiple app reviews, 2 reviews upon submission to determine your interview status, 1 review during the interview by your interviewers, and most importantly one more review of your full app with your interview performance included as an additional data point. So a few small mistakes won't really take away from a solid overall application.
