For those who had interviews, how do you interact with your interviewee? He/She asked me to just send a calendar invite, not sure if I should be adding a zoom/google link as well or something.
This was the email I sent to my interviewer:
"Dear (Alumni),
I am reaching out to confirm my acceptance to interview for the CBS MBA program. I am very much looking forward to our conversation!
When you have a moment, can you confirm the time and date that will be most suitable for you?
I am available the following the dates:
• XXX at 9:30pm Eastern Time (ET)
• XXX at 3:30pm or 9:00pm (ET)
• XXX at 3:30pm or 9:00pm (ET)
• XXX at 3:15pm or 9:00pm (ET)
Additionally, please find a copy of my resume for your record.
I look forward to sharing more about myself with you. And if I can provide you with any further information prior to the interview please let me know.
Thanks in advance,"
Once the alumni interviewer confirmed the date and time, I just sent the google link.
My interview was VERY traditional/ no curve balls. I think it was 20min long. Short and simple. The alumni submitted their feedback an hour or so after the interview....3 weeks later I got the acceptance call from adcom.
Best advice for tackling the inteview: SMILE, really engage in the conversation, and if you can, take notes when the alumni interviewer is answering your questions.
