I completely agree! The process seems completely haphazard .. especially when compared to the other programs I’ve applied to.
I heard berkeley is similar, they just send invitations progresively, from feb to the end of march

Cornell is the same. I've been checking my portal everyday till I received the invite last week.

Okay, I’ll try to adjust my expectations :) Sending out positive vibes to everyone still waiting to hear from Stern (or Berkeley or Cornell!) I think I have checked the portal at least 15x today

Many of us are in the same boat as you. Invitations still rolling - the initial notification deadline is April 1st.

It'd be strange to (hopefully) have acceptances already in hand from other programs before I even know if I got the interview with Stern. Really hoping to hear back prior to April 1st.

I’m in the same boat! I am focusing on the interviews I’ve received at other schools (some of which are higher ranked and/or a better fit for me thankfully). At this point, I’m just grateful I received an application fee waiver. However, it does sound like they invite people up to April 1st. I’m just not sure how that is supposed to work when other schools I applied to in the same round will be requiring a decision (and I think deposit?) by then.

There are actually two which received interview invites yesterday - I think one person mistakenly marked themselves as a round 2 applicant.

Has anyone followed up with the admission committee recently? I have been following up with them but all I got were very standard, emotionless responses saying I will receive notification on or before the corresponding dates (which is Apr 1st) if I submitted complete application by Jan 15th. I understand they are super busy but the tone I’m getting is that they are not interested in reading my application. Not sure if anyone feels the same way.
