Hello Junii. I am not an expert but i would like to help here.
Option C states that --> whereas just over 20 percent of the energy comes from hydro-electric power in China.
If you put this option together it will be -->
Over 65 percent of the energy produced in Brazil derives from hydro-electric power, whereas just over 20 percent of the energy comes from hydro-electric power in China.
The meaning which i derive from this statement is that 20percent of the energy for Brazil comes from hydro-electric power in China.
This however distorts the meaning. So this is not correct.
Option E however,
Over 65 percent of the energy produced in Brazil derives from hydro-electric power,whereas hydro-electric power accounts for just over 20 percent of the energy produced in China
.
Clearly mentions that 20% of energy produced in china comes from Hydro Power. So this is the Correct Answer.
Option C states that --> whereas just over 20 percent of the energy comes from hydro-electric power in China.
