One more thing to add from what TWIC shared: there are two formats of interview invites, real-time in person interview and recorded Q&A interview. It does appear the first type is more familiar to most of us and it is in general nicer to have an interview with a person through a camera in real time. But there is no preference whatsoever from the Adcom perspective. So once you get the interview invite, if you can only choose recorded interview option, don’t get discouraged.

No, open your submitted application. The prompt asking you to choose pre-recorded vs interview - should be on top.

It'll be one of the first things you see on the main page. It'll be very obvious whether you have an interview or not

Same, I checked the portal and saw an invite. Email notification came several hours later Btw, what does the location indicated next to the interview slot imply? Is it the timezone of the slot or location of the interviewer? Does Berkeley, CA indicate interview with AdCom?
