Hi all. Congrats to all who got an admit. I received an offer letter a couple of days ago as well. If there’s a group with admitted students, please add me as well!
PSA for Indian males applying in the next rounds and next application cycles:
Admission decisions for Indian males are made much later than for others (including Indian females). Other people are told about their decision (in case of offer) usually within 1-2 weeks of the interview, but for Indian males it can take upto 3-4 weeks or even later (depending on the decision date deadline), so please keep that in mind and do not panic!
Rotman SOS! Where in the Rotman application do I talk about my LT/ST goals? Is the spike factor essay the right place to mention my career inspirations and action plan for 2 years at Rotman or no? TIA 🤝
I used the spike factor essay to indicate how my factors will help me contribute at Rotman and also how they will support me post-MBA. Basically gave hints of my goals through the essay. The interview, at least in my case, wasn’t blinded - meaning the interviewer already read my essays. I got an opportunity to elaborate my goals during the interview.
What really blows my mind is that there is a candidate with a GMAT score of 800 who has been waitlisted! Really puts things in a different perspective.
