Hey everyone, I am a current Wharton student and I was in your place not a long time back. Let me know if you want me to moderate 1-2 TBDs. Would be happy to help and provide feedback.

I am trying to get a student for the mock TBD but so far I couldn’t get any.

So, I think we can go ahead and do the mock TBD without a current student helping us

We can plan a mock TBD session for this Thursday.

I will send out calendar invites.

Hope most of you can attend it.

Hi, I’m looking to apply to Wharton in R2 and I need someone to give me an honest advice on whether it would be worth a shot. Statistically how easy/difficult is it for Asian ORMs to crack Wharton in Round 2 with 740 GMAT? Would be glad to share my full profile over DM if you can have a look at the same.

Hi everyone, I’m applying for the upcoming round and I was wondering if anyone knows any good sources to get your resume’s reviewed for schools?

Hey there - Just wanted to chime in here to say that the #1 thing you should NOT use to decide whether or not to apply to a school you're interested in is what you or anyone else thinks your "odds" are. Any acceptance rates posted are for the general applicant pool. All that really matters for any given applicant is how many people they have who are "like them on paper" -- THAT's who you're going to be competing directly against. And that changes from round to round and school to school and no one will ever know that info but the adcom themselves.

I would instead use your time working on positioning your candidacy as strongly as possible and ensuring that you are communicating all that you bring to the table beyond just your "stats." What can your fellow students learn from your life and work experience? What are your career goals and how exactly would Wharton help you achieve them? It would be an awful thing, in my mind, to NOT apply somewhere and then wonder "What if?" because you based your decision on odds that no one really even knows.

I hope that helps and best of luck! Also I have a podcast episode about this -- B-Schooled #129 from a few weeks ago -- if that helps.

Hi, everyone. Looking forward to todays mock TBD sessions at 8 AM Pacific

I have sent calendar invites to all those signed up

I have 24 accepting the calendar invite. So, depending on how many people will join, we will do 4-5 Zoom breakout rooms.
