I did. I was waitlisted at Stern so I asked them if they can provide me with and early decision as I had to submit a deposit elsewhere. They said, for waitlisted candidates, they keep on reviewing application until the term starts which may be as late as August. Hence, they can’t provide an earlier decision at the moment.

That’s tough to navigate I figure. I was just interviewed last Tuesday. My deposit at the other school is coming so i don’t know if it is wise to ask for an early decision at this point.

I’m a waitlisted candidate at NYU Stern (Round I) and I think, I’m not 100%, that there was a change in my application portal. It says "Your application is complete and currently under review with the Admissions Committee.". I think that before I hadn’t this "under review" part. Has someone seen this? A change similar to that? I may be wrong...but would that mean that they start reviewing my application again?

in fact I really do see changes...because I don’t have that part anymore to add waitlist updates and everything...

Hope you guys are enjoying your weekend.

Due to being in another different timezone, I missed a call this past Friday (4/12) afternoon at 1:30 PM (EST) from Manhattan (area code begins with 646). I've been waiting for a final decision since the Stern interview, which went pretty smoothly on 3/26 and my interviewer told me to expect a final decision in 3 weeks (4/16 marks the 3-week). I called back as soon as I found out at 9 PM EST but was immediately redirected to the voice mail (I guess it's after hours?). I googled that number but found nothing related. Stern is my No.1 dream school so I am genuinely excited.

What are your thoughts? Any input is appreciated.

I saw changes in my application portal. Was also waitlisted in round 1…I don’t see there anymore the places where I could inset waitlist updates…and it says that my application is “currently under review”…don’t know if this change happened for every waitlisted candidate

Did yours originally show the decision date that put you on the waitlist and now it shows under review? I am an R3 waitlist and mine still shows the decision and date that i was put on waitlist. sounds encoraging that you may be hearing something soon.
