Hey guys,
I am about as anxious for the results as anyone else on this forum, and I know that conventional wisdom tells us to stay busy to avoid a state of mental paralysis.
But here's something I'd like to add - you need to stay busy, but it's understandable to not be as productive as the other days. If you're done with your work today, kill some time.
It's okay to not hustle sometimes.
Here are some things I am doing in my rut that are keeping me sane:
1. Free online poker and sudoku
2. Watching smosh Reddit stories or Try Guys 'without a recipe' on YouTube
3. Listening to two podcasts which give me no knowledge whatsoever: 'The Internet Said So' and 'The Tony and Ryan Podcast' - they're just funny people being funny, and I love that
4. Mucking around with the stray kittens living outside my apartment. They're very cute. (Please be careful if you do this though, not all pawed cuties are as friendly.)
5. Watching Bluey on Disney Hotstar. It is a Disney Junior show about a wholesome dog family. I somewhat like families but I adore dogs.
Also, a friendly reminder to drink water, and put on your socks if your toes feel cold, and call your family even if you think you don't "need" to because you just visited them or called them when you wished them happy Diwali.
Kthxbye!
