Was at a community event Haas hosted yesterday focused on EMEA. Adcom person said to have patience, that they’re still reviewing applications and that apparently they started by looking at domestic applications first. She also said the order in which they send interview invitations is no reflection of whether we have less of a chance to get in. We just have to keep calm and carry on for now.

Anyone here applied for MBA/MCS or any of the dual degree?

Considered applying for the MBA/MPH but decided against it because I think it’s the only double degree where you need to be accepted by both otherwise they reject you. Plus heard from a student there that you can add up the MPH once you’re there.

What are the chances to receive an interview invite now ?

Might expect a few till Feb. end! Good luck everyone!

Few tips for the interview:

Prepare well for common interview questions: Practice responses to frequently asked questions, such as "Tell me about yourself," "Why an MBA?" and "Why Haas?" (anticipate in pre-recorded interview session too)

Present Yourself Professionally: While attire is not formally evaluated, dressing in business attire can help you feel confident and make a positive impression. (mentioned in Official website tips)

Take Your Time When Responding: It's advisable to budget around one and a half minutes per question, allowing yourself time to reflect and provide thoughtful answers.

Address the Specific Question Asked: Listen carefully to each question and respond directly, ensuring you provide relevant information without deviating from the topic.

Note: Please be aware that if no live interview slots are available, you may need to participate in a prerecorded video interview. To avoid this, it's advisable to schedule your interview promptly upon receiving an invitation, as live slots fill up quickly.

Request the folks to throw some light if Haas will release additional live interview slots. I could not find any live interview slots currently.
