VamsiAntyakula, For your reference the median GMAT FE score for ISB would be in the range of 665-685.

Thanks a lot for your reply. My GMAT score is 675 which is 730 equivalent. It is typo error

With your GMAT score of 675, you should be in a good position to receive an interview invite, assuming the rest of your application is well-crafted.
But what I said about the transition to PM still stays. You would be a great fit for consulting as well since a lot of their clients are transitioning to renewable energy.
Feel free to DM if you have further doubts or need help with your application.

heyrishit30,
Need to ask a few more questions for a better evaluation.
1. Can you name your undergrad college/univeristy?
2. GRE score breakdown
3. Have you had any promotions in JP morgan?
4. When you say "responsible for addressing COR issue of moving developers from outdated public cloud infrastructure" does this mean you are leading a team?
5. What about Spuur clothing? why did you not continue it?
6. Why do you want to get into ISB? what are your goals?

1. Punjab Engineering College
2. 157V, 170Q
3. Not yet, I’ll get promoted in January to Software Developer 2
4. Not leading a team I was the engineering who alongside Product team led the efforts to take customer interviews, because we had developed a compliant solution but still adoption was less. I led the initiative with my product managers to go ahead and talk to our customers (engineers within the firm) and from the insights I suggested to develop a recommendation engine and was an integral part of developing that application.
5. Spuur Clothing I still help here and there but it is now completely under my brother’s name because I can’t have it under my name as I am working at JPMC.
Why I did not do Spuur clothing completely?
a. We could not scale it well, that I shift to it completely and I had an offer from such a big company, so it seemed logical to learn more and get the experience of working in such a big company
b. I see myself running a startup, and I wanted spuur to be my playground to learn and understand intricacies of running a business
6. I aspire to be an entrepreneur and ISB can help me becaome a well rounded entrepreneur over the years I have honed my technical skills, ISB’s well known incubation cell can help me grow as an entrepreneur, learn business skills and also build my network.
My short term goal: Get into founder’s office roles
My long term goal: Start a company

Hi again rishit30,
Now that I have a clearer understanding of your profile, I believe your GRE score is slightly on the lower side, which might pose a challenge. That said, I’m confident in your goals and believe you have a strong chance of convincing the admissions committee.

Another potential challenge is your work experience, which is relatively brief and lacks significant leadership roles. However, it’s important to emphasize the stakeholder management skills you gained at JP Morgan, as this will strengthen your application.

As a GEM (General Engineering Male) candidate with a lower-than-average GRE score and less than three years of work experience, you’ll face some hurdles. That said, presenting a compelling application that highlights your strengths and sets you apart will be key.

Feel free to reach out if you need support with your application. One of our mentors, a PEC class of 2020 graduate, had a similar profile and goals before attending ISB.

If you are reasonably confident that you can get a 675 or more on the re-attempt, wait for R2, else apply in R1.

Hi everyone.

How did you upload official score card?

Can the pdf be generated? or do we have to simply take the screenshot and upload the image.

Hi,
From your MBA.com login, you need to take a screenshot with the score on the right screen and include the left panel (black in colour) showing your personal information ( Name, GMAT ID etc). Convert this to pdf and upload. Read our page for more FAQs on ISB application

All the best!

Hi Everyone, I’ll really appreciate if any kind soul can evaluate my profile please.
29 - F
Grade 10th: 9.8 CGPA CBSE
Grade 12th: 91.7% (PCM + Economics)
Graduation -BA Economics Hons University of Delhi , 2013-2016 ~76% (1st division)
Masters in Financial Economics ( 2016-2018) from tier 1 college
GMAT Score (FE): 625

Profile summary:

Work Ex:
Worked for fortune 500 Fintech Company for 4 years as sr. strategy analyst. And prior to that at another fortune 500 as a data analyst. One caveat is I am currently on a career break from past 1 year due to certain VISA complications in US ( had to move for a year due to personal reasons)
Have 2 research internships and a thesis in developmental economics during my masters.

EC:
I have done multiple participations in theatre/dance in school (though that was in SCHOOL, long back)
I led NSS in my undergraduate college and held post for 2 years as creative head as well as organizational secretary
not so much EC during masters

I have volunteered numerous times all through my undergrad masters as well as jobs.
Good academics and strong work ex. Would need to understand the reason for career gap for better guidance. Also, GMAT score is on the lower side. If possible, would recommend you to re-take the exam with the goal of improving the score by at least 20-30 points. Feel free to reach out to us at Preppie (https://www.preppie.in) for a more detailed conversation
