Hi
The8 It completely depends on the uniqueness of your profile. If you’re from an overrepresented pool, keep in mind that by the time the adcoms review your application, they will have already admitted a majority of candidates. At that stage, the admissions committee will have a clear sense of the profiles they’ve seen and will be more (if not extremely) critical in assessing what additional value you bring to the class.
Adcoms aren’t just selecting candidates to match class statistics—especially with late applicants, they are willing to challenge their usual benchmarks if a candidate presents some exceptional high points. So, if you're applying later in the cycle, don’t fall into the trap of thinking,
“Oh, I have the stats.” Instead, push yourself to answer,
“What makes me truly unique?” That mindset will also reflect in your application.
If you have a strong feeling about your chances, go ahead and apply. Otherwise, consider waiting and applying early in the next cycle with better preparation. There’s definitely room to improve your GMAT score.
Best wishes

Hi
quick question
I am planning to apply in round 3 for MBA at LBS
with GMAT Focus 655 , GPA 3.95/4 and around 5 years of work experience with strong promotions track record
should I go ahead or it would be better to wait for the next year?
Any advice would be greatly appreciated
