Can someone please shed some light on how to go about preparing for extempore topics
Yes please

Does anyone want to get the interview rescheduled? I dropped a note to the team and even called them but there has been no response.

Hasn’t worked for anyone I know..One guy had a sudden & genuine brain ailment and he requested for a reschedule, IIMA denied it.. (PS- he traveled to Ahmedabad and got through)
maybe other consultants here know somone.

Your best best in case of a clash is to ask ISB and then your interview might happen online later but it will happen

Some key points for Extempore for IIMA Interview:
1) Think before you speak: Always take 1 minute to structure your thoughts. The interviewer might already give you time to think, but ask if need be.
2) Opinions over facts and figures: The interview panel is looking to hear your opinion, so do not start stating facts and figures. This is not a rote learning competition but is used to judge your ability to think analytically and originally and finally, put that in clear, crisp sentences.
3) Do not get scared: There will be questions and counter-opinions; be prepared. Defending your thinking helps; but being too strong-headed doesn’t.
4) Communicate your ideas effectively and convincingly: Always structure your ideas in a way that the listener is focussed and pays attention to all that you have to say. Be concise, and do not ramble.

Yes, an email is sent 48 hours after the payment is made. Mine went directly to the spam folder. So do check that as well.

Yeah, checked and it was there from the admin team member who was copied in the earlier mails.
Thanks!

Also, is there any consensus on a common gc yet?
I saw other people asking the same question earlier in the thread.

Hi Ananyav,
Your GMAT score is low, the class average is around 700 (GMAT 10th edition not FE); I would suggest you reappear for GMAT and get around 645 before you apply. Considering that you have (or will have) only 4 yrs of experience when you apply, this GMAT score will not make the cut.

From the brief introduction that you have shared, your profile seems like a fit for IIM A PGPX program. However, a lot will ride on what your role is and your learnings from the same. A strong application and impeccable essays will also be necessary for securing admissions. You can DM us for a detailed profile review.
