Let first throw = X
Therefore second throw = 2x-6 (6 less than twice the first throw)
Given,
2x-6 = X+ 28
X=34

Hence second throw = 2X-6 = 2*34-6 = 62

Let distance of 1st thrown be x
Distance of second throw be S

As per Question:
S+6 = 2x => S= 2x-6

Also S = 28+x
Equating both: 28+x=2x-6 => x= 34

So distance of 2nd throw = 28+x = 28+ 34 = 62. Answer is A

Lets take 1st throw as x and second throw as Y

Y+6=2X ......i

Y=28+x.......ii

2X-6=28+x

X=34

Y=34+28=62

Hence 2nd throw was 62m

Option A is correct

Let the first throw be a, and the second throw be s.

If s+6 = 2a

Given s -a = 28

s = 28+a

28 + a+6 = 2a

34 = a

Second throw s = 2a - 6 = 2*34 -6 = 62

Option A
