Prashok & bsd_lover,
I've got a question about the curriculum. I noticed that opportunities to take classes in pure statistical methods appear somewhat limited in the programme. There's a pre-session
Business Statistics class in September of the first year (that can be waived out of), and then
Time Series Analysis and Forecasting as a
Management Science and Operations second year elective, but not much else.
For those who've got a more detailed interest in statistics for personal and professional edification, does the School, to your knowledge, permit students to take such classes outside the programme but within the University of London school system (such as at Imperial College or University College London)?
Hope you're both having a restful Christmas break.
