I paid a deposit the morning of March 5th....and got the UT admit call about an hour later. FAIL.

I'm going to pay my deposit for another school today. I'm hoping to have the same sort of luck :) on another note; I checked my status today and it still has not changed. I've tried both links listed earlier in this thread. Are there any other March App's who haven't had an update?

Still no word here. I sent an email yesterday morning to see if I could get a bite on what the latest i might be able to expect to hear is. No response on that either. As difficult as it is to wait, at least we haven't been dinged! I'm hopeful! 8-)

I did the same thing gravel, and haven't got a response either. Maybe they are prepping to call me, well I hope that.

Does anyone have a copy of the original waitlist letter? I remember it discouraged contact with the admissions office, but I would like to express my continued interest in the program. I applied very late, and was waitlisted promptly. Would contacting the MAC be a bad idea at this point? I don't want to disregard their preference for contact in any way.

Thanks guys, yeah I'm going to be going to Smith (University of Maryland). Deposit will go in tomorrow now that I know McCombs is out. I wasn't 100% sure if I got into McCombs that I would be going there anyway. Both schools are fairly similar in rankings, program, etc. I was leaning towards McCombs because Austin is awesome, but In state MD was enticing as well.

No need to worry about a tough decision any more, I'm gonna be a Terp

Smith is a great school man, so you'll still be getting one awesome education. It's always better to know now than waiting around in a state of limbo. Good luck in College Park!

Via random online status check. No email sent. I did everything I could within reason, I visiting the MAC, spoke directly to Vicki via email. But at the end of the day, I guess my $hit DOES stink.
