Just curious: Is it fair to assume that folks who do not receive an interview invite in the second wave.. (sometime this week), are a deny or at best, waitlist?

Are there instances when Ross admits applicants without interview?

i think i read a prior year's forum or something, which indicated that if u don't get an interview, the best = waitlist

There were a lot of people who got invites in the 2nd wave of R1 too.. Even if you don't get one then, there is a possibility that you could be waitlisted (when R2 decision notification comes out) and then called for an interview with R3 applicants immediately after that.. Anyway, good luck!

if you ask the adcom, they will tell you not to lose hope since they can call you for an interview even days before the decision deadline. however, looking at past cases, you can assume that the chances for that are very rare (still can happen though).

Anyways, too early to think negative thoughts. keep yr fingers crossed for the 2nd wave...

Did my interview with an alum in Bangalore India on Sunday at a coffee shop
She was very friendly and put me at ease
The questions were the usual
Why ross, Why MBA, Biggest success, A failure u learnt from .. not many team questions
But it was more a ocnversation that an interview so the questions were fewer

On the whole it wasnt bad but not great either

One thing was she seemed very passionate abt Ross

Fingers crossed for now ... any idea if they give out decisions before the deadline under any circumstances?

Not hearing from the other univs i applied to yet

In the past they call admits in the days leading up to the decision date, but that is maybe 2 days in advance.

And decision date is 8th March which is Tuesday.
I think they wont start calling before 7th... people without calls wont be able to handle anxiety during the weekend :D :D

I'm going to go ahead and speculate on the next wave of interview invites. My guess is Thursday February 3rd at roughly 1pm EST.

What do you think? Over, under or right on the money?
