You never know, it might be a double bluff! I should have put my GPA as 3.14 and my location as Toronto, ON just to throw a cat amongst the pigeons... I was just looking at some of the older posts on here and am curious what approach you took to your 'activities' in the end. I have a few I could mention but some are a lot stronger than others. I'm wondering whether to nix one or two.

lol, that would be taking overanalysis to a new level! In the end I included 5 activities. 3 were solid charitable pursuits, the other 2 I discussed sports involvement to show that side of me.

Did any of the R1 admitted students receive their admissions packet? I still havent received mine (and it was supposedly mailed on Dec20).

I haven't receive it yet though I am geographically close to Yale. Hopefully the package was not buried under the snow next to my mailbox.

if it was actually sent on the 20th it's not coming. usps delivers internationally in less time (and that's not even paying extra). I think people need to give a call or e-mail to let admissions know you haven't received anything. as I mentioned earlier, they didn't seem to be aware of any delay when I asked.
