So, fairly confident that this is a negative sign, but I formerly had an "interview complete" status on my application profile - that just recently disappeared.

I am a wait-listed re-applicant, conversations with the AdCom earlier this fall indicated that if the first interview went well (feedback seemed to indicate this was not an issue) there was no need to re-interview, but now this. Does anyone have any thoughts on the matter - pretty disheartening.

Now that is peculiar....Just checked my status - I am not a reapplicant - and it is unchanged from what I posted a couple posts up. Any other reapplicants here?

also a reapplicant here (ding last year w/o int)
This year my app never changed.

this seems to be a bad sign. I don't think SOM can give initation on december 10th or so, then you complet the interv and have the final decision on the 16th. it seems hard to believe.
They should be more fair and send the dings as soon as they know!

You can give them a call and tell them you noticed it is missing now. I feel like that is completely reasonable.

ounce, sorry, got very busy and didn't get a chance to publish for the group.

called yesterday and they said, that they updated the database and how it is shown on our end visually over the past few days and that is the reason for the discrepancy. I did not push on the issue and ask if there was any significance, but from our brief chat, it sounded like it was simply an adjustment in the system and not an indication of anything more.

just to give you my thoughts, i have several colleagues at YSOM at the moment and from what I have heard, they have not heard of anyone reapplying and being accepted without a second interview. now, they did not say that it was not likely, just in the current 1st and 2nd year classes they did not know of anyone with that circumstance. so, i don't think we can read too much into it, but just to give you some color behind my sentiments.

To brighten up the wait for those with interview invites I will share that the percentages most recently quoted by members of admissions are 25% of all applicants get interviewed and out of these 68% get offered admission. So we've passed the biggest hurdle!

Thanks ntenzer for the info! Last time I talked to the adcom, they did say that they DON'T reinterview people, so I'm counting on that for not having received an interview invite. LOL.. and hoping miracle will happen. haha... Good luck and thanks again for the info!
