i am from eastern europe and they told me that they will have my interview in London on the 15th. So i am not sure if they sent all the European invitations but they should be sending them very soon..

Hi I've got a question for people already interviewed at NYU -- website lets you sign up for lunch with a current student, but doesn't specify any further. Am I suppose to just show up at the Ad Com office at the scheduled lunch time and they'll assign a student to eat with me? Thanks!

Pretty much, if you schedule it the day of your interview. It will most likely be an MBA2 with a couple of other applicants being interviewed. Not a bad idea to have lunch just before the interview, helps you calm some nerves and gives you excellent fodder for the actual interview conversation.

Are you counting your time in the military as work experience? FWIW, there are people in both the Stern and Columbia MBA classes who were admitted with only 2 years of post-undergrad (U.S.) work experience. If you have a good story and explain why an MBA now might be a good idea, don't write off your chances at either school.
And Brooklyn might be a 15-20 min. subway ride away from Stern if you live right on the A/C or the N/R, but door to door it takes a bit longer. Most people live within walking distance of school. That said, there are a lot of Stern folks that live in South Brooklyn and Williamsburg and it's a very tight community.
