Hi All,

Did anyone get their verification done by "Re Vera Services"? What all do they verify? Do they just verify designation, salary, employment dates? Or do they verify the facts that can only by confirmed by managers and not by HR like number of persons I am leading, exact work profile, past performance etc?

My manager recently disclosed his plans of taking 6 months off and is reluctant in disclosing his contact details. I am concerned that he may not be available when the verification happens.

Please let me know if anyone has undergone verification check by Re Vera.

I think everyone has to get this verification done if they accept a place on the course.

I don't know what details they ask for, but my employer has a very clear policy on references, and only confirms dates of employement, so I'm not sure how useful the verification exercise will actually be for Sloan. (I had to sweet-talk some former managers for my recommendation letters).

In any case, I'm sure that you'll have plenty of written documentation that you can provide in case of any queries (payslips, performance reviews, promotion letters... ).

The AdMIT website has a couple of FAQs on ther process.

Hi there!
A long time lurker here! Fortunately my anxious wait is over. Good luck to all of you still in the process!

I have recently been admitted to Berkeley and MIT. Now I have a dilemma (a happy dilemma though)... My dream is to work in Silicon Valley (Google, Apple, Facebook...) after my MBA and I can't decide between MIT or Berkeley. What would you recommend me? I have just posted the same question on the Berkeley's thread too to have the views of Haas and Sloan applicants.

if possible can you also share which region you are in... just from looking at last year's thread it seems that invite time may correlate with your coordinates (for some schools including MIT). (I'm in the Midwest so my wishful thinking is that they just haven't gotten to us yet). Thanks in advance!

Do the MIT interview invites trickle in according to the area the candidates are based in ? I heard that the adcom goes to certain cities and conducts all the interviews themselves...
