The big if would be getting in but assuming I get in based on my background (unique Army operational unit), I would chose MIT based on
1) Class size is much smaller 350-400 versus 900-950
2) Freedom to explore several career paths versus coming in with a concrete idea
3) Humility of the students - while students I met (about 20 or so over 3 days) are a small sample, all of them were very smart, motivated, fun, helpful, and just good people; when i visited wharton everyone felt the need to qualify themselves based on their backgrounds or accomplishments
i know bankers/consultants do alot but i had to deal with life and death decisions, the consequences of my f*** ups were people died so i wasn't impressed with people who were very impressed with themselves; while i respect what they did and their talents i prefer the mit atmosphere and community
to me, when people are talented and just good people it comes through, they do not make a concerted effort to show it, they are simply themselves, they challenge themselves, they achieve alot, they help their team thats the type of place i want to be
4)atmosphere of entreprenuership and innovation
