Does schools (mainly M7) require us to include the eventual additional (non relevant) classes taken for fun / curiosity ? I’m not talking about transfer classes or other classes that are taken into account in the GPA only completely irrelevant classes taken outside of an undergrad/grad just for fun and basically distant learning years ago and not even in the US as I’m from Europe.
I'm asking because I forgot that years ago (think 10 years) I registered for a distance learning program in a completely different subject while doing my undergrade at my undergrad institution in Europe. There weren't any classes as I just bought some books and I went to take the tests at the end of the year resulting in a big Fail. I never heard from them later.
If I don't report thoses classes, background check companies won't have ANY way to know about them (the institution has no right to confirm
anything without my formal consent) but I'm not very confortable with thit even if I don't really have a choice. It's completely inimaginable to include those transcripts, imagine the result when you register for a class about a subject you don't know at all, then you go take the test for fun. I realize now that I was stupid. In my country you can do whatever you want because there no such thing as additional classes included in the GPA, each university/school has its own grading system and the only exceptions are the transfert/exchange/classes taken abroad/ dual degree etc.
What should I do ... please give me your insight I'm in a total panic
