Hoping to see some waitlist movement today..
Best of luck!
Is this a hope or a normal protocol :-)
I don't think there will be any change for waitliters today or tomorrow...maybe in the next 2-3 weeks

think its a hope, but one i share!! The last rd of admits will be informed today/tomorrow, and their deposit is due on 6/1, so in all likelihood another month or so and I think we should get some movement. Based on Dawna's blog post, i'm hoping a few of us can get off the waitlist. It seems the past two years they had a higher than expected yield, so hopefully they've calibrated things accordingly based on these experiences. Clearly, as wl'ers the odds are stacked against us, but I'm trying to stay positive!!

What is Tuck's yield for the past 2 years?

I don't know exactly, but looking at earlier years forums it seems they actually deferred a few admits because they didn't want the class size to be too big, which clearly would have been bad for people on the WL. Judging by the FB group, it seems there are less members than at this time last year....and additionally, even though its bs, the drop 2 spots on the latest US News ranking may affect a couple people, opening up a few more spots for us.

Was any person waitlisted in R2 contacted? I havent received any communication till date.
What is the process? Will all waitlisted candidates be contacted by Adcom and offered feedback? Or should we reach out to them and ask for feedback/send updates?
I e-mailed the adcom regarding the same. Havent got a response yet. Any thoughts would be helpful.

I am not sure if any R2 WL was contacted. But I am a WL from EA round and was asked to sumbit any update (in March 2012). I did submit my update and have not heard fro adcom since then. Meanwhile they were getting in touch with the denied applicants to prvide feedback for next year.

April Round applicant here to join the waitlist party. I do have one question....

Are deposits that are due June 1 non-refundable? I ask because I was admitted to another institution, but Tuck is my top priority and I don't want to risk losing my spot waiting for Tuck; but at the same time, if Tuck does admit me, it would be nice if I could get my money back. Any feedback would be greatly appreciated

I got off the waitlist last year and received the good news at the very end of July- and I'm an international student. If you're going to another school anyway, it's very easy to get the name of the school on your visa switched to Tuck.

Be patient but don't let them forget about you. I would advise that you contact them once a month.

I've never heard of anyone receiving a refund on a school's deposit. Pretty sure you have to eat that if you get in off the WL and choose Tuck over the other program.

I haven't heard back from Tuck yet.

Anybody knows when we should hear back the final decision? The deposit deadline for Round 3, June, 1st is tomorrow. More movement on the wait list would be expected then?

I actually just received an email stating that Tuck is "currently at full capacity" since they've had many people accept their offers. So... it says I'm still on the wait list (although it has been "reduced"), but I can't imagine there will be much movement going forward (if the email is sincere, which I assume it is). YMMV.

Did anyone who had still been on the WL NOT get the email placing them on the reduced list?

I received the same email about Tuck being at capacity. I guess the yield was high this year.

Just got an email from Dawna telling me that the class is already at full capacity, and that they cannot grant my request for admission. Sucks.

Best of luck to all those still on the reduced list -> hope to see some admits off that list in the next few weeks.

Cheers All,
MBAWanderlust
