I had my interview last week. I can't say it was the best experience. The interviewer did not seem particularly interested in being there from the get-go and stuck exactly to the 30 minute mark. The questions were relatively straightforward, but they did toss in a few behavioral questions and one specifically about an accomplishment listed on my resume.

Hi Guys,
How are your interviews going? I have my skype interview scheduled on Tuesday. Any idea:
1. On the questions
2. Who takes them? Alumni/Admissions team/Career management?
3. Are they blind interviews? Is the interviewer aware of your essays?
4. Any other advice specifically for Anderson interviews?

All typical questions - walk me through your resume, why Anderson, etc. It's done by a second year who just has your resume. You should get the name of your interviewer the day before your Skype session. Good luck!

The comments above are incorrect. All interviews are not done by second years, mine was not a 2y and a friend of mine had his done by someone in a different department as well.

For LOR, do we need to give official email only? Actually one of them can not access office mail at home and in office he will be busy and won't get time to do anything. So he asked me to submit his personal email ID? I have asked him to check whether they have any webmail access but the chances are skim. He will be on leave for most of the days.

Not all skype are done by 2nd year. I had it with Adcom. Interview was pretty standard. Why MBA, why UCLA, team work exp - No trick questions.
However, I did not feel it to be blind. There was no 'tell me abt yourself' or goals question.

Sorry guys, my mistake! Everyone I know, including me, had second years do their interviews. Mine was definitely blind; the person only had my resume. If you have yours with adcom, it's probably not blind then ... not sure if there's a difference between the two? Probably not though.

I wouldn't put too much weight into that. It seems that Anderson has a modified version of the AY website, and it may be different from the one they used last year. I could definitely be wrong though since I don't know what last year's looked like since I didn't apply then.

Man, I interviewed over a month ago. You can imagine how anxious I've been since then! I thought it went really great, but you just never know with these things. Hoping and praying :lol:
