I looked through last year's thread (which admittedly doesn't mean much) but it seemed as if the status changing was a good thing. We'll see though. And if that is the case, I wouldn't worry about it if your status hasn't changed. I interviewed the 2nd week of November, so they've had a LONG time to read and re-read my application!

Last year looks like e-mails went out at 3:15AM PST. So seeing its 6PM in LA right now, they must've loaded it into their system and went home.. Arghh this is frustrating..

So what do you guys think - recommender names gone = admit / ding?
I wouldn't say it's a ding if your recommenders didn't disappear. Seems like some people who didn't have the same apply yourself status changes still got in early last year and still more who didn't have the same status changes got in later. Regardless of what happens tomorrow or whenever, it does not seem like anyone of us is out. Just more heart ache!

Wow I'm freaking out.. My status has NOT changed This can't be good.... Interviewed mid November...
Got WL from Kellogg yesterday, really could use an admit right now or it's gonna be a very depressing Christmas season..
I wouldn't freak out. At least you got a WL from Kellogg, I got a straight DING from Tuck. Needless to say, I highly doubt I'm a better candidate than you are. Let's just wait and see what happens, but I'm hoping for the best for all of us!

No idea. What's your status on the website?
Based on last year's thread, I would think that's a good sign! Good luck, you guys.
Nevertheless, also based on last year's thread, even if nothing has changed on your application page (like me!) that's not necessarily a bad sign. There's still over a month until the actual result date and we (begrudgingly) might have to wait until then.

To aerien, unfortunately no change yet. I keep refreshing my mailbox, but no mail from Anderson. Luckily it's night time in China, I could still wait...cross my fingers

Here is a screen shot of my current application status on the Apply Yourself site. I applied in round 1, have NOT been invited to interview and am located on the west coast (CA).

Thanks guys. My theory is that people who have had their recommendations disappear probably have their fate sealed one way or another. The people still waiting have yet to be decided on.
