Hi All,
I gave my GMAT exam a few days back and scored a 650 (Q-49, V-29). Verbal was a total disappointment, considering that it was my strength and i scored above 35 in all the mocks that i had given, 6 MGMATs and 2 gmatPREPs. Anyway, since the deadlines are very near, i dont think i can retake the test
Please evaluate my chances at the following schools based on my profile:
Indian, Female, 25.
GMAT- 650 (Q-49, V-29)
Graduation from an Indian University in Information Technology, 68% graduation score.
Work Ex: 30 months in a reputed IT firm.
Extra curriculars:
-active in literary activities/competitions at college level
-was the head of an event in college, coordinating a team of 50+ people, organising the event for 200 + people
-was the editor of the college technical magazine.
- many other such college level activities.
My list of colleges:
1. Fisher, OSU
2. Smith, UMCP
3. Mays, TAMU
4. Kelley, IUB
5. Smeal, Penn State
6. Broad, MSU
7. Tepper, CMU (for MIS in case mba is a long shot)
Please let me know what chances i have at these universities. i have done a lot of research, but i am still confused

Thanks for providing details of your profile.
I understand that sometimes GMAT scores don't test-takers' your own expectations . Even though the schools like to say balanced GMAT score , it doesn't mean that getting a low verbal score will ruin your chances of admission. You have good ECs . You have about 3 years of work experience which is a bit on the lower side. Also, you have not provided any details on the quality of your work experience ( position, work accomplishment, leadership roles ). More details on work experience will give us a better picture of your candidacy.
Application essays are the most critical part of the application package. Skillfully composed essays that showcase the applicant candidacy in the best manner possible may outweigh low GMAT because the Ad Com take holistic view of your application. https://myessayreview.com/blogs/?p=159
Your list of schools looks ok to me except that kelley may be a stretch.
Are you planning to apply in Round 2? I don't think there is much time left to meet the Round 1 deadlines.
