Hi Queen199212,

First off, a 640/Q45 is a solid score (it's right around the 70th percentile overall), so it could be enough to get you into your first-choice School. There's no harm in retesting though, and you have the potential to pick up some serious points in both the Quant and Verbal sections.

Before I can offer you any advice on how you might proceed with this next phase of your studies, it would help if you could provide a bit more information on how you've been studying and your goals:

Studies:
1) How long have you studied?
2) What study materials have you used so far?
3) How have you scored on EACH of your CATs/mocks (including the Quant and Verbal Scaled Scores for EACH)?

Goals:
4) What is your goal score?
5) When are you planning to apply to Business School?
6) What Schools are you planning to apply to?

Rich

Hi Queen199212,

Before I can give you the specific advice that you're looking for, I'm going to need exact answers to my questions. Much of the information that you provided in your last post was vague - and we need to define your situation in more detail if we're going to discuss how you should best proceed with this next phase of your studies.

I completely agree with you. I feel CR and RC help each other. In fact I will go on to say that you have to read on the entire GMAT very critically. You cannot loose focus while reading on GMAT.

Having said that I am sure you will chalk out a very successful study plan for yourself now. Wishing you all the very best in your prep and crack a wonderful score on GMAT.

Hi

640 is a good score. Congratulations!

Looks like you are going in the right direction, analyzing your score & test performance is critical for improvement.

I suggest purchase the ESR & do a thorough analysis. Then work on weaker areas & get stronger.

All the best!! Keep us posted.

Cheers
